Okay.......I have to know where this beach is......

It looks gorgeous!!! No real waves for surfing that I can see, unless the tide's just out, but still.......where there's sand and water and a chance for a bathing suit, I am so there. Hehe.

And I love the sunset colors the camera captured. Fantastic. Makes me all homesick for Hawaii! Haha!

It is in Milford, CT and the beach is right next to a public beach called, "Anchor Beach." The beach the picture was taken on is a private beach so it doesn't have a name. My grandparents and great aunt and uncle bought a beach house there over thirty years ago, so my mom grew up at this beach in the summer and I have as well.

You can see in the picture the back of my grandmother and my Mom's cousin. The mansion in the background is called the Poli Mansion (Poli is spelled wrong though) and supposedly Derek Jeter was intereseted in buying it at one point. This never happened but it is cool to mention.

Very nice. I love spots like that with all sorts of good memories.

I did have a good Fourth of July. Spent it with the family; basically BBQd and swam all day long. Love fresh grilled hamburgers. Yummy. Ate waaaay too much, as usual, but it was so worth it.

The actual day itself was okay. I had work until 7:00 and then I went home and laid back and relaxed. The third of July, when I took the pictures I've posted so far, and the fifth were spent down and the beach and therefore, were much better. The water was freezing though, probably 70 degrees at best. How warm was the water where you were at?
